Event Announcement – In recognition of World Mental Health Day 2024

Harrogate based, Community Interest Company, The Jordan Legacy CIC, founded by former Chamber Vice President Steve Phillip, is inviting all heads of departments, wellbeing leads and HR personal from local businesses, schools and other education centres, charities and community organisations to attend an event at the North Yorkshire Police Treatment Centre conference suite in Harrogate, from 9am-5pm on World Mental Health Day, Thursday October 10th.

As part of a broader Harrogate and North Yorkshire initiative, working in partnership with North Yorkshire Public Health, The Jordan Legacy has brought together more than a dozen speakers, who will showcase the diverse range of options available in our region to deal with issues such as workplace bullying, online safety for young people, the relationship with money and mental health, bereavement support, supporting men’s mental health, alcohol addiction and much more.

The theme for this event is “Mind in Unity – fostering good mental health through collaboration”

This is an important and valuable opportunity for you to learn more about the challenges we face in our region, when it comes to mental health and the hope that is available from so many amongst us who are able to provide support to those who are struggling with any sense of entrapment or hopelessness.

You’re sure to leave this event with plenty of ideas to support those you live and work with.

This event is limited to just 50 places and full details, including how to book are available via this Eventbrite page

The Jordan Legacy was founded in August 2020 following the death by suicide of Steve’s 34 year old son.  You can learn more about their work via this website: https://thejordanlegacy.com/
