Highlights From Grand Launch For Harrogate’s Newest Restaurant, Amber’s
Leading Yorkshire Hotel group, Cedar Court celebrated opening the doors of its brand-new restaurant, Amber’s, at its flagship Harrogate hotel, with 130 members of the community and local businesses.

Guests enjoyed sampling drinks and canapés from the new Yorkshire and British inspired menu and touring the new restaurant, which includes a private dining and entertaining space, the Imaginarium, and banqueting venue, the Queen Suite with a capacity of 250 people.
The event was hosted in partnership with Harrogate Business Improvement District (BID) and Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce. Sue Kramer, President of Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce and Matthew Chapman, Manager of Harrogate BID spoke at the event before officially marking Amber’s as open with a celebratory banner breakthrough with the General Manager, Oliver Stott.
Inspired by the spirit of Lady Amber Fitzwilliam*, the pioneering scientist and society wit who ran her famous salon from the hotel in the early twentieth century, Amber’s has been created to offer high-quality dining experience for Cedar Court hotel guests and local Harrogate residents alike and offering a new entertaining space for both large and small events such as dinners, celebrations, and weddings.
With approximately 130 guests in attendance, the event was a celebration of the hard work undertaken over 12 months by the Cedar Court Hotel Group team.

Local residents within HG1 and HG2 postcodes will be offered a complimentary membership to ‘Friends of Amber’s’ which includes special benefits exclusive discounts when dining at the new restaurant, as well as access to Amber’s private dining room, The Imaginarium.
