Harrogate Town welcomes James Daly from National League side Woking.
We are delighted to welcome 23-year-old winger James Daly to the club from National League side Woking, on a two-year-deal.
Daly began his career with English Premier League side Crystal Palace and was voted the club’s Scholar of the Year during the 2017/18 season.
After leaving The Eagles, the winger amassed close to 50 appearances at League One & League Two level with Bristol Rovers & Stevenage.
A move to National League side Woking would follow. Here Daly would make history as he featured in the first Woking squad to reach the National League playoffs last season.
Town boss Simon Weaver added: “Daly is approaching a good point in his career, that mid-20 mark where it’s about establishing yourself and your career and really pushing the club on at the same time.
“He’s an exciting player who plays on the front foot and has the ability to change games with his energy and presence on the field, I’m sure he is a player that will excite the fans.”
Daly will wear the number 11 at the club.
