Draft North Yorkshire Destination Management Plan Consultation and Workshops

North Yorkshire Council along with Destination Harrogate are currently consulting local businesses on the development of a new Destination Management Plan (DMP) for North Yorkshire.

At the workshops partner businesses and stakeholders were asked to identify what they felt were key priorities and actions under a number of themes.  The information gathered at these workshops together with the assessment of existing strategies and plans have now provided the opportunity to share with you a draft North Yorkshire DMP for consideration and further consultation.

Linked below you will find details of the plan for your attention (long and short version).  A polished version of the long plan will be developed following the consultation period.

A series of further workshops will be held across the County where the team will be presenting details around the plan – including workshops in Ripon and Harrogate. We invite you to book your place on one of the workshops, please register here https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/north-yorkshire-destination-management-plan-2137459

To gather your views a questionnaire has also been developed to assist you in providing your feedback on the different elements of the plan.

A link to the plan and this questionnaire can be found here North Yorkshire Destination Management Strategy consultation | North Yorkshire Council

We appreciate that this is a busy period and therefore we will be running the consultation for one month (closing date 31 August) and also holding some online teams workshops.

The Destination Management Plan will form part of our application to become a Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) and therefore your feedback as a valued visitor economy partner is essential.
