Our meetings are FREE for members and non-members attending their first meeting. Guests must then join to attend further meetings.

Members and guests arrive from 17.30 for informal networking, when complimentary refreshments are served. The meeting commences at 18.15, finishing by 20.00.

Menopause at Work

14th October 2024 - Members and Registered Guests

Companies should aim to address menopause with the same attention as any other health-related matter. This not only contributes to breaking the stigma and taboo surrounding menopause in the workplace but also facilitates the creation of an inclusive environment where employees and managers can openly discuss potential adjustments.

This meeting will hear from business professionals on how this topic is dealt with in their workplace.

Bank Of England

Every year the Harrogate Chamber hosts a financial meeting where we hear from the Bank of England. This year, once again, we will hearing from Paul who is the Bank of England’s Deputy Agent for Yorkshire and the Humber. He is an experienced economist who has worked across a range of public and private sector organisations in a career spanning more than 30 years. Paul will talk about the role of the Bank of England, the causes of the recent high inflation in the UK, and the Bank’s response to date. He will also set out the Bank’s view on the future path of inflation, economic growth and employment in the UK.

Business Safari

This meeting is the first of our two annual Business Safari which will be fast, furious and fun. Business owners or their representatives are tasked with delivering short pitches that encapsulate the essence of their business, including any special offers and samples.
