Harrogate Neighbours Launches Community Hub
Harrogate Neighbours is opening a great new space for Starbeck and the surrounding areas, Harrogate Neighbours Community Hub hopes to become one of Starbeck's most important locations.
The Hub can be found at 16 High Street, Starbeck, Harrogate, HG2 7HY, and is normally open between 10am and 4pm.
Harrogate Neighbours, a not-for-profit organisation, seeks innovative ways to cover rent and rates without relying solely on traditional income sources. Their strategy involves leveraging the window space at the Hub for advertising purposes, and they are reaching out to members of the chamber for support. The plan is to install a TV in the window, effectively creating a rolling billboard that showcases local businesses.
For a monthly fee of £50, companies can secure advertising space, with the goal of generating enough revenue to cover the rent. The prime location ensures visibility, as it is frequented by local residents passing by regularly.

A place where you can pop in and say hello, have a cup of tea and a slice of cake, and ask for any help you may need. Spread across two floors, there is space for 6 tables, a small cafe area, as well as remote working locations and a local noticeboard.
Their main purpose is to help people find out what they need to know, and we do this by collecting a range of local information within the space, as well as hosting guest speakers, holding events, running drop in sessions and more.
We will signpost people to local charities, services and opportunities available to them, to ensure that when help is needed, we find the answers.
We also welcome people who just want a warm place to go to meet friends for a cup of tea without having to spend a fortune. We run an affordable cafe space where we charge reasonable prices for those little treats.
