President Sue wins at Harrogate Business Awards
Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce's President, Sue Kramer, was one of the winners at the Harrogate Business Awards
Sue, who co-owns Crown Jewellers on Commercial Street, picked up the Business Community Hero Award at the ceremony hosted by former Calendar presenter, Duncan Wood, and held at Pavilions of Harrogate.
Sue has been a member of Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce for 11 years, joined the Management Group in 2015, and three years later became a Vice President. At May's AGM, Sue became its President.
She was nominated for the award by Chamber CEO, David Simister, who said: "I'm absolutely delighted for Sue. She had no idea I had nominated her for this award, and only found out when I rang her to say she had been shortlisted.
"Sue has been the driving force behind promoting Commercial Street, and her passion for the street and its independent businesses is evident for all to see.
"Sue has helped put it firmly back on map. She is also a brilliant supporter of Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce, and dedicated many hours to both Commercial Street and the Chamber, whilst also running a successful business. She thoroughly deserves the title of Business Community Hero."
