Meeting Review : Christmas Safari 2023

Monday saw Harrogate Chamber's final meeting of the year. Held at Harrogate College, 46 Chamber members gathered for our lively Business Safari, a unique event where each business owner or their representatives delivered brief pitches capturing the essence of their businesses.

The evening was a terrific way to conclude our year which has been full of insightful discussions aimed at informing and educating our members and their visitors on issues relevant to us all.

Usually, our meetings include a presentation from one of our charity members but at this time of year we felt it more appropriate to include a collection of household items from our members on behalf of Resurrected Bites. Simon (Resurrected Bites Operations Manager) said that they are grateful for every donation, which are all used to help people who may be struggling with the cost of living, particularly at this time of year.

Special thanks go to our hosts, Danny Wild (Principal), and Jason Parry (Curriculum Programme Manager), as well as the students pursuing a Diploma in Hospitality, Catering, and Events at Harrogate College. Their outstanding catering highlighted some fabulous dishes, leaving us all confident about the future of hospitality in the area.

Thank you to everyone who attended, and we look forward to welcoming you all to our meetings throughout 2024.
