Match Funding Grants Still Available To Improve Shop Fronts And Accessibility In Harrogate
A small number of match funding grants are still available to improve shop fronts and accessibility for BID Member businesses in Harrogate.
The town’s Business Improvement District (BID) launched the grants earlier this year, with a number of local businesses taking the opportunity to receive the funding to enhance their front.
The aim is to offer investment into repairs and redecorations of business entrances and streets, refurbishment or replacement of graphics and signage and improvements on accessibility.
Harrogate BID is pleased to announce that there are still grants available for Members to apply for to support their business.
Matthew Chapman, Harrogate BID Manager, said: “We’ve had a good response from our Members with the grants this year.
“First impressions really do count and these grants contribute towards making sure our town is safe, clean and welcoming for all.
“We fund grants such as this as we’re always keen to maintain Harrogate’s reputation as the jewel in Yorkshire’s crown.
“Applications are still open for the grants for the rest of 2024, which can be used in a variety of ways to develop and upgrade your shop front!”
The BID will provide match funding up to £750 towards these improvement works. All levy paying members within the Harrogate BID area are eligible to apply for the grant.
Businesses wishing to submit a request for a grant should email info@harrogatebid.co.uk with a short description of the proposed work, any equipment needed, the expected completion date and any quotations or proposals.
