The well-respected directory has praised the firm’s “specialist knowledge in complex areas”.

Legal teams and individual lawyers alike have been highlighted for the quality of legal advice offered.

That is important, because technical excellence enables us to provide the best possible solution for a client, unlocking opportunities or providing safeguards which may otherwise be missed.”

“We know from our daily interaction with those we work alongside that this approach is valued and, as Chambers and Partners is based on independently gathered client feedback, it is pleasing to see our views validated in this way.”

The guide offers praise for private client work, recognising the “extremely knowledgeable” life team, singling out the “well regarded” Julie Jewers. Elsewhere, Berwins’ family law team receive praise, being ranked in the top band of departments in the region with “great lawyer” Stephen Root, the “knowledgeable, experienced and compassionate” William Kaye and team lead, Danielle Day – described as “a true pleasure to work with” – all singled out.
