Harrogate Theatre’s Little Stages Festival returns bringing the magic of theatre to children!
Opening this weekend and running until May, Little Stages sponsored by Your Harrogate showcases an enchanting lineup of theatre performances designed to captivate children of all ages.
Whether you’re seeking heartwarming tales, jaw-dropping magic, or extraordinary puppetry and dance, there’s something for everyone!
Kicking off the festival, Julia Donaldson and Sara Ogilvie’s The Detective Dog (Sat 15 Feb) follows the adventures of Detective Dog Nell, whose keen nose and sharp instincts help solve the mystery of disappearing books!
Ugg ’n’ Ogg and the World’s First Dogg (Sat 22 Feb) delivers a hilarious prehistoric tale of two young heroes and their discovery of man’s best friend.
The Frog and the Princess (Sat 01 Mar) offers a reimagining of the classic fairy tale, brought to life with breathtaking puppetry.
Room on the Broom (Sat 08 – Sun 09 Mar) based on Julia Donaldson’s beloved story, comes alive in a magical, music-filled adaptation.
The Magic of Science (Sat 15 Mar) presents a non-stop action-packed interactive magical science show.
Northern Ballet’s Hansel and Gretel (Tue 15 Apr) presents an enchanting reimagined production of the timeless fairy tale.
A Big Egg (Thu 17 Apr) delivers a heartwarming, interactive story perfect for little ones.
West End Magic (Sat 19 Apr) features dazzling illusions and mind-boggling tricks from some of the best magicians in the industry.
Pirates Love Underpants (Wed 30 Apr – Thu 01 May) brings a swashbuckling adventure packed with laughs and excitement, based on the bestselling book. Finally,
There’s a Monster in Your Show (Sat 24 – Sun 25 May) creates a lively and playful stage adaptation of the beloved Tom Fletcher book.
