Harrogate BID Club’s March event promises a tranquil and focused experience to start the working day

A Harrogate business organisation’s next monthly networking session will offer visitors a tranquil and focused experience to start the working day.

For instead of it being an afterwork meeting, March’s Harrogate BID Club is taking the form of an early morning Yoga class at Ebru Evrim on James Street.

Numbers for the class, which is being held at 7.30am on Thursday, March 16, are limited, and those attending are asked to come dressed in gym gear and bring a water bottle.

Following a successful £300,000 crowdfunding campaign, the fitness expert converted the former Laura Ashley store into a three-storey boutique “wellness venue”, offering daily yoga and Pilates classes. It also boasts a kitchen and rest area and showers and a changing room.

Harrogate BID Manager Matthew Chapman said: “In addition to keeping our members informed on all the latest news impacting business and town centre, we are aiming to offer them a different experience at each of our BID Clubs.

“February’s BID Club was a ‘netwalking’ event led by Harry Satloka from ‘Free Walking Tour Harrogate’, and for March it’s going to be Yoga!

“For this we have teamed up with Ebru Avrim, who last year took over a vacant retail unit and converted it into a wonderful health and fitness studio, which complements the businesses already occupying James Street.

“After-work events are not convenient for everyone, so that is another reason for holding a pre-work BID Club, and this one will certainly be a great way to start the working day.”

BID members wishing to take part are asked to register book their places by emailing info@harrogatrebid.co.uk
