Give The Gift Of Harrogate This Christmas With The Perfect Present For That Special Someone

Give the gift of Harrogate to a special family member of friend this Christmas with the Harrogate Gift Card.

The Harrogate Gift Card could make the perfect present for that special someone this Christmas

Now available to use in almost 100 businesses in the North Yorkshire town, the gift card helps you to cover all bases for that perfect Christmas present.

The festive period is such an important time for businesses in all sectors and the gift card is a fantastic way to shop local and lock in spend into Harrogate’s economy and business community.

Bethany Allen, Operations and Projects Executive at Harrogate BID, said: “Whether it’s booking a relaxing stay in Harrogate to visit the Turkish Baths, or buying a dazzling new piece of jewellery for that special someone, the Harrogate Gift Card has you covered.

“As the BID we’re always looking to drive spend into our local businesses – and the gift card is an excellent way of doing so.

“The cards can be preloaded up to £500 and can be used across many of our town’s businesses.

“If you’re stuck for something to buy for someone, it really could make an ideal Christmas gift this year!”

Since it was launched in 2019, the scheme has locked in over £140,000 into Harrogate’s businesses, both national and independent.

A digital version of the Harrogate Gift Card was launched earlier this year, making it easier and more accessible as it can be stored on a mobile phone.

Businesses don’t need a swipe function on their terminal to accept the digital cards, making it a lot easier to spend them.

Once a digital Gift Card has been purchased it can be accessed via an app, which can then easily be downloaded into your phone’s wallet.
