Disability Action Yorkshire Launch Poetry Competition

Calling all poets and wordsmiths!

Chamber Member Disability Action Yorkshire have announced their upcoming 'I Am Me' Poetry Competition.

It’s a chance for disabled people to share their unique perspectives and personal experiences through poetry.

Open to all disabled people, the charity is encouraging participants to write, film or record a poetic account of their experience as a disabled person for the chance to win a £100 prize!

Whatever form or style you choose to submit, there is no limit in length and every entry will be judged on its own merit.

The competition is open from November 1st to November 22nd, and on December 3rd, in celebration of International Day of Disabled People, we will be announcing the winners. And that's not all! There's a fantastic £100 prize for the first-place winner.

Your unique voice matters - don't miss this chance to shine!

Please submit all entries to jackie.snape@da-y.org.uk or by post to Jackie Snape, Unit 14a Hornbeam Park Oval, Harrogate, HG2 8RB. Alternatively, please contact Jackie on 07540961847.
