BID and Chamber Host ‘Summer Social’ Event For Member Businesses In Harrogate

Harrogate BID was delighted to work alongside the town’s Chamber of Commerce group to bring together the business community for a social event.

More than 50 representatives from the Harrogate business community attended the ‘Summer Social’ on Monday (August 12th) - held at the newly refurbished Coach & Horses pub on West Park in the North Yorkshire town.

The gathering is held annually to give member businesses of both groups the chance to catch up with both old and new faces in a relaxed and inclusive environment.

Matthew Chapman, Harrogate BID Manager, said: “Our Summer Social is always a fantastic opportunity for our members to network with each other and form both relationships and connections with others in our town’s business community.

“As the BID, we believe it’s always beneficial to work in collaboration where we can, so we’d like to thank the guys at the Chamber of Commerce for hosting this event with us.

“I’d like to thank all who attended, everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves once again!

“We’ve had some lovely, welcoming feedback, - with members saying it was a delight to be there!

“I’d also like to give a special shout-out to the team at the Coach & Horses for their top hospitality.”

Meanwhile, Martin Mann, Chief Executive at the Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce, said: “Monday evening was a great event for both BID and Chamber members to meet in a more social environment.

“It provided a wonderful opportunity for networking, fostering new connections and strengthening existing relationships.

“We are looking forward to hosting more such productive and enjoyable events in the future!”
