Amber’s Launches New Thursday Club With Fixed-price Menu And Live Music For Local Residents
Amber’s restaurant is officially launching its Thursday Club and inviting people to book and try their new fixed-price menu, elegant midweek dining experience and live acoustic music on Thursday 6 June 2024, available from 5 – 9.15pm.
The concept of the Thursday Club is in keeping with the spirit of Lady Amber Fitzwilliam*, pioneering scientist and trailblazer, whose famous Thursday Club ran for many years at the hotel and will offer a sophisticated fixed-price menu and relaxed entertainment for diners in the luxurious setting of the restaurant every Thursday night.
The Thursday Club, starting on 6 June 2024, will not only showcase the best ingredients from Yorkshire and the British Isles, but also live acoustic music from a handful of carefully chosen local up-and-coming artists to encourage the Harrogate community to come and socialise, enjoy great food, good company and a mid-week treat.
Amber’s which is based at the Cedar Court Hotel Group’s flagship hotel in Harrogate, will be changing the dishes of the set menu on a seasonal basis, to celebrate the different delicious ingredients each season brings. The current menu will include carefully selected dishes from the Amber’s À La Carte Menu such as Pan Seared Scallops with asparagus emulsion and crispy seaweed, Slow Cooked Rolled Easingwold Belly Pork with potato & black pudding terrine, and Classic Jam Roly Poly with double cream custard.

Diners can enjoy two courses for £30 or upgrade to three courses for an additional £7.50 per person. Wine pairings can also be added, for an additional £15 upgrade per person. Live music will be between 6.30pm and 7.15pm & 7.45pm and 8.30pm. Members of the Friends of Amber’s local residents club are welcome to use their 20% discount.
